During our lesson about eating and nutrition, we did a complete research project about the content of sugar, salt and saturated fats in typical food and drinks we have everyday.
First, we collected packages of products that we considered interested for the project, by analyzing the nutritional facts which you always can see in the package.
Then, we went to the lab, and made real measurements of the quantities of sugar, salt and fats of each of the products, using an electronic balance.
Then, we created the posters, so everyone could see and compare those quantities with the daily recommended intake of each of them.
We have learnt that we have to be very careful with our diet, because some products contain too much of these nutrients, that in high proportions can be dangerous and unhealthy for our bodies.
